Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors by answering inquiries, directing calls, and providing accurate information regarding city services.
- Assist in the processing and maintenance of administrative records, including data entry, filing, and document management using government databases.
- Support departmental staff with various operational tasks, including scheduling, meeting coordination, and preparing reports.
- Conduct research on municipal codes, regulations, and local policies to assist in decision-making processes.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; additional education in Public Administration, Business, or a related field is a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably within a government or public sector environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict deadlines and confidentiality standards.
- Valid California driverβs license and access to a reliable vehicle may be required for some locations.
