Responsibilities
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies
- Develop compelling grant proposals, budgets, and reports tailored to funders' priorities
- Cultivate relationships with program staff to gather program details and impact metrics
- Manage grant application calendar and ensure timely submission of all materials
- Maintain accurate grant databases and reporting documentation
- Collaborate with finance team on budget alignment and compliance
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional grant writing experience with proven funding success
- Portfolio demonstrating secured grants of $50,000+
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field (Communications, Nonprofit Mgmt, etc.)
- Expertise in researching foundation and corporate funding opportunities
- Exceptional writing/editing skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency with grant management software (e.g., GrantStation, Salesforce NPSP)
- Knowledge of Tampa Bay nonprofit landscape preferred
