Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to patrons at library service desks
- Assist with circulation services, including check-in/out and renewals
- Support digital literacy programs and tech troubleshooting
- Organize and maintain library collections and resources
- Facilitate community outreach events and educational workshops
- Process interlibrary loans and cataloging tasks
- Collaborate with team on inventory management and shelving
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 6+ months customer service or library experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and library systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed
- Basic knowledge of library classification systems a plus
- Must pass background check and fingerprinting
