Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with accuracy and urgency
- Operate radio communication systems for police, fire, and EMS units
- Enter and maintain detailed information in CAD/RMS systems
- Provide clear, concise instructions to callers during emergencies
- Coordinate resources during critical incidents
- Document all call activities and communications meticulously
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer literacy and typing proficiency (40+ WPM)
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Clear verbal communication skills with neutral accent
- US citizenship and NC residency required
- No felony convictions or serious misdemeanors
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid NC driver's license
