Responsibilities
- Process emergency/non-emergency calls using CAD/RMS systems
- Dispatch police/fire/EMS units with precise location details
- Maintain radio communication with field personnel
- Enter/update critical incident data in real-time
- Provide crisis intervention and multi-tasking under pressure
- Adhere to NIMS protocols and departmental procedures
- Train on E911 systems and multi-agency coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Typing speed: 40+ WPM (verified certification)
- No felony convictions or domestic violence charges
- Ability to pass background/drug screening
- Basic computer literacy and multi-tasking skills
- Clear speaking voice and calm demeanor
- Valid Texas Driver's License
