Responsibilities
- Process emergency and non-emergency calls with empathy, accuracy, and speed
- Operate multi-channel radio systems and Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) software
- Coordinate field units during critical incidents and routine operations
- Maintain detailed incident documentation and records
- Provide life-saving instructions to callers during medical emergencies
- Adhere to strict confidentiality protocols and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in continuous training to maintain certification standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure environments
- Exceptional communication and active listening skills
- Basic computer proficiency with ability to learn complex systems
- Must pass criminal background check and drug screening
- Valid Florida Driver's License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
