Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative proposals and regulatory impacts on state economic policies
- Prepare concise policy briefs and recommendation memos for senior leadership
- Conduct quantitative data analysis using Excel and statistical software
- Coordinate stakeholder meetings with government agencies and community partners
- Track emerging trends in workforce development and technology innovation
- Support grant application processes for federal funding opportunities
- Maintain accurate documentation of policy research and findings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Economics, or related field
- 2+ years of policy analysis or research experience
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI)
- Strong written communication with samples of policy memos
- Experience with Washington State legislative processes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid Washington State driver's license
- US citizenship or permanent residency required
