Responsibilities
- Analyze legislative impacts and draft policy briefings for county council members
- Conduct quantitative research using municipal datasets and public records
- Facilitate community outreach sessions across Seattle neighborhoods
- Develop implementation roadmaps for sustainability initiatives
- Prepare executive summaries for senior leadership reviews
- Coordinate inter-departmental policy reviews with 15+ agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Policy, Urban Planning, or related field
- 2+ years of policy analysis or government research experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools
- Experience with public meeting facilitation and stakeholder engagement
- Knowledge of Washington State administrative codes
- Ability to manage competing priorities with tight deadlines
- Valid Washington State driver's license (for field visits)
