Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate community outreach events across Portland neighborhoods
- Develop culturally sensitive educational materials for county programs
- Collect and analyze resident feedback via surveys and public forums
- Coordinate with county departments to align outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation of community interactions
- Represent county initiatives at public meetings and festivals
- Support digital engagement through social media and online platforms
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years experience in community outreach or public service
- Exceptional verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to work evenings/weekends for community events
- Proficiency in data collection and reporting tools
- Valid Oregon driver's license and reliable transportation
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English) highly desirable
- Experience with CRM systems or government databases
