Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, sweepers) under supervision
- Assist in snow removal and storm response operations
- Support park beautification and green space maintenance
- Collect and dispose of construction debris and waste materials
- Conduct safety inspections of work sites
- Document daily progress and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Availability to work flexible shifts (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Prior public works experience a plus
