Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, paving, and landscaping for public infrastructure projects
- Operate light equipment such as jackhammers, power saws, and pressure washers under supervision
- Assist in maintaining roads, sidewalks, parks, and municipal facilities
- Follow safety protocols and maintain clean job sites
- Participate in stormwater management and erosion control initiatives
- Support traffic control and flagging operations for public works projects
- Document daily work activities and material usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools and construction methods
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Previous public works or construction experience preferred
