Responsibilities
- Manage and organize incoming and outgoing correspondence and official city documents.
- Verify and index data into the municipal database with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Assist the Records Division in archiving historical city documents and digitizing files.
- Respond to public inquiries regarding file access, retrieval policies, and appointment scheduling.
- Maintain a clean, secure, and organized filing system for sensitive government records.
- Perform data entry, transcription, and general administrative support tasks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Records Management or Public Administration preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or records management role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
