Responsibilities
- Maintain and organize physical and digital filing systems in strict accordance with state privacy regulations.
- Screen and direct incoming calls and visitors to appropriate departments with professionalism and efficiency.
- Prepare, process, and verify incoming mail, reports, and administrative documents for accuracy.
- Assist the public with inquiries regarding program eligibility and document submission requirements.
- Perform data entry tasks using various departmental software and databases.
- Ensure the office reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in an administrative, office, or records management role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic typing skills (40+ WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move files weighing up to 25 pounds.
