Responsibilities
- Sort, arrange, and deliver mail and packages along designated postal routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in all weather conditions
- Collect and process outgoing mail from customer collection boxes
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and minor maintenance checks
- Adhere to USPS safety protocols and delivery time standards
- Assist with parcel sorting and distribution at local postal facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record
- Ability to lift mail sacks up to 70 pounds repeatedly
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Availability to work early morning shifts (5:00 AM - 9:00 AM)
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to walk extended distances and stand for prolonged periods
