Responsibilities
- Manage and process confidential government documentation and records with high attention to detail.
- Communicate effectively with the public, applicants, and agency staff to resolve inquiries and provide accurate information.
- Assist in the coordination of daily office operations and maintain a high standard of professional appearance.
- Utilize government database systems to input data, generate reports, and track program metrics.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet departmental performance goals.
- Adhere to all state regulations, policies, and procedures regarding data privacy and security.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in an administrative or customer service role within a government or corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and government case management software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Must be able to pass a background check and meet all eligibility requirements for state employment.
