Responsibilities
- Conduct compliance audits and examinations of multi-employer pension plans
- Investigate potential ERISA violations and benefit plan irregularities
- Develop enforcement actions and corrective measures for non-compliant plans
- Provide technical guidance to plan sponsors, trustees, and beneficiaries
- Analyze complex pension plan financial statements and actuarial valuations
- Collaborate with legal teams on litigation and settlement negotiations
- Train industry professionals on pension regulations and best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or regulatory experience
- Knowledge of ERISA, PBGC regulations, and IRS pension codes
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or Enrolled Pension Agent (EPA) preferred
- Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex financial data
- Ability to manage multiple regulatory examinations concurrently
- Excellent written communication for investigative reports and compliance guidance
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain federal security clearance
