Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans including enrollment, processing, and record maintenance
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and state pension laws
- Conduct benefit calculations and provide member education
- Collaborate with auditors and legal counsel for compliance reviews
- Manage pension fund investments and reporting
- Respond to inquiries from employees and retirees
- Prepare annual financial statements and regulatory filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation preferred
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, Millennium Plus)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage sensitive financial data with discretion
