Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of multi-million dollar pension fund portfolios
- Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, IRS, and state regulatory requirements
- Analyze investment performance and prepare quarterly/annual financial reports
- Coordinate with external fund managers and actuarial consultants
- Develop strategic asset allocation models for retirement fund growth
- Train and support employees on pension plan enrollment and benefits
- Conduct internal audits and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with Texas regional offices on cross-state pension initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience
- SPDP (Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries) certification
- Proficiency in pension software systems (e.g., Albridge, Benefitfocus)
- Strong knowledge of fiduciary responsibilities and ERISA regulations
- Experience with multi-state pension plan coordination
- Advanced Excel modeling skills and financial analysis capabilities
- Ability to obtain federal security clearance within 90 days
