Responsibilities
- Manage daily pay processing for pension-eligible employees
- Administer retirement plan contributions and distributions Maintain accurate pension participant records and documentation
- Conduct eligibility audits and compliance reviews
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding pension benefits
- Collaborate with finance and HR departments on payroll integration
- Prepare quarterly pension reports for state auditors
- Update retirement plan procedures in accordance with state regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension plan or payroll administration experience
- Certified Public Pension Administrator (CPPA) preferred
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., SAP, Workday)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and Florida pension regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage confidential employee data with discretion
- Valid Florida driver's license
