Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund disbursements and record-keeping for 15,000+ beneficiaries
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and Kentucky state pension regulations
- Process retirement applications and conduct eligibility verifications
- Develop and maintain participant communication materials
- Collaborate with investment and actuarial teams on fund performance
- Conduct periodic audits and reconciliation of pension accounts
- Train HR partners on pension enrollment procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years pension administration or benefits management experience
- Proficiency with pension management software (e.g., Millennium, Empower)
- Strong knowledge of 401(k), 457(b), and pension plan regulations
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 certification required
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage sensitive financial data with absolute discretion
