Responsibilities

- Collaborate with auditors and legal counsel to conduct compliance reviews and regulatory reporting
- Oversee member communications regarding retirement eligibility, distribution options, and plan modifications
- Lead process improvements for pension fund operations using financial software systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pension plan administration or retirement benefits management
- Advanced knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) policies
- Proficiency in financial software (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft) and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data and actuarial reports
