Responsibilities
- Administer pension plan benefits including enrollment, vesting calculations, and distribution processing

- Manage participant communications regarding retirement plan options and updates
- Conduct annual audits and financial reporting for pension fund assets
- Collaborate with investment teams to monitor fund performance and allocation
- Develop educational materials for public employees on retirement planning
- Coordinate with legal counsel on plan amendments and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation required
- Expertise in ERISA, IRS 401(k)/403(b) regulations, and Colorado pension statutes
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Alight, Benefitfocus)
- Strong analytical skills for financial modeling and benefit calculations
