Responsibilities
- Administer pension plan enrollment, disbursements, and compliance documentation
- Conduct eligibility audits and benefit calculations for 5,000+ active participants
- Collaborate with HR departments on retirement policy implementation
- Generate quarterly reports for regulatory agencies and stakeholders
- Manage participant inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations
- Update plan documentation in accordance with ERISA and IRS guidelines
- Train new employees on retirement plan options and enrollment processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, PeopleSoft)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k)/457 regulations
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to financial details
- Ability to manage sensitive confidential information
- Colorado government clearance or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid U.S. driver's license required
