Responsibilities
- Oversee pension fund administration including contributions, distributions, and record-keeping
- Ensure compliance with Ohio Revised Code and ERISA regulations
- Process retirement applications and manage member communications
- Analyze financial data to maintain fund solvency and projection accuracy
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee retirement planning
- Prepare monthly/quarterly reports for stakeholders and auditors
- Implement process improvements for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan or retirement fund experience
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and financial software
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and Ohio pension regulations
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Pension Associate (PA) preferred
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
- Valid Ohio driver's license required
