Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan operations including enrollment, distributions, and record maintenance
- Ensure compliance with government regulations (ERISA, IRS codes, CalPERS standards)
- Process retirement applications and resolve member inquiries
- Prepare annual actuarial reports and financial statements
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on pension-related matters
- Implement plan amendments and policy updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Empower)
- Knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and California pension laws
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
