Job Summary:
The ideal candidate will assist in the administration of state programs, ensuring compliance with local and federal regulations while providing exceptional service to the public.
Responsibilities
- Process and review incoming applications and documentation for compliance with state regulations and agency policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service to constituents, employees, and vendors via phone, email, and in-person inquiries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the state’s centralized database systems.
- Assist in the planning and coordination of government outreach events and community initiatives.
- Enforce agency protocols to ensure operational efficiency, safety, and integrity of operations.
- Prepare reports and correspondence for state oversight boards and internal management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a government, administrative, or customer service role is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer operations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening as part of the hiring process.
