Responsibilities
- Oversee federal grant programs and compliance for coastal security initiatives
- Coordinate inter-agency operations with CBP, FEMA, and local authorities
- Analyze policy impacts and recommend regulatory adjustments
- Lead cross-functional task forces for emergency response preparedness
- Prepare confidential briefings for senior DHS leadership
- Manage $2M+ annual budget allocations and reporting
- Conduct field assessments for critical infrastructure vulnerabilities
Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Security Studies, or related field
- 3+ years federal government program management experience
- Expertise in grant administration and OMB compliance
- Proficiency with federal financial systems (e.g., MAX)
- Incident Command System (ICS-400) certification
- Strong analytical writing and policy development skills
- Experience with GIS mapping for security assessments
