Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans for 50,000+ public sector employees with precision
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, NC General Statutes, and IRS regulations
- Process retirement applications, distributions, and benefit adjustments
- Conduct annual valuations and funding projections for multi-million dollar plans
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee benefit education
- Generate regulatory reports for NC Treasurer's Office oversight
- Manage vendor relationships for plan administration services
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
- 3+ years pension plan administration experience
- SPDC or QKA certification preferred
