Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund contributions, distributions, and record-keeping for 50+ public sector agencies
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS regulations, and Colorado state pension laws
- Conduct member eligibility verifications and retirement benefit calculations
- Analyze investment portfolio performance and actuarial reports
- Develop educational materials for pre-retirement counseling sessions
- Collaborate with auditors during annual compliance reviews
- Implement plan amendments per legislative updates
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration required
- 3+ years pension administration or benefits management experience
- Proficiency with pension administration software (e.g., Oracle, Milliman)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
- CPA or CFA designation highly preferred
- Experience with government pension systems essential
