Responsibilities
- Manage pension fund portfolios and investment strategies for public sector employees
- Process retirement applications and disbursements with 99.8% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and Indiana state pension regulations
- Generate comprehensive financial reports for government stakeholders
- Collaborate with auditors during quarterly compliance reviews
- Train night shift staff on pension administration protocols
- Respond to urgent employee inquiries during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan or retirement administration experience
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS 401(k), and state pension regulations
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Millennium, Albridge)
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 certification preferred
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours with minimal supervision
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for complex retirement scenarios
- Valid Indiana government security clearance (or ability to obtain)
