Responsibilities
- Manage and administer state pension plan accounts with precision and compliance
- Analyze financial data to ensure accurate benefit calculations and reporting
- Develop and implement retirement plan policies aligned with state regulations
- Collaborate with HR departments on employee enrollment and education initiatives
- Conduct audits to maintain fiduciary responsibility and regulatory compliance
- Prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders and regulatory bodies
- Stay updated on evolving pension laws and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS regulations, and state pension laws
- Proficient in financial software (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and data analysis tools
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and mathematical accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
