- Analyze financial data to ensure pension fund solvency and actuarial accuracy
- Develop strategic benefit optimization plans for federal agencies
- Conduct audits of third-party administrators and investment managers
- Provide technical guidance to HR professionals on retirement planning
- Prepare comprehensive regulatory reports for congressional oversight
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to modernize pension administration systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or benefits management experience
- Federal benefits certification (e.g., CBP, CBPC) or equivalent
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., PeopleSoft, Workday)
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, OPM regulations, and federal retirement systems
- Strong analytical skills with experience in actuarial modeling
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust security clearance
