Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive audits of multi-employer and single-employer pension plans to ensure ERISA compliance

- Develop educational materials for plan sponsors and participants on fiduciary responsibilities
- Analyze complex pension plan structures and financial data to assess funding adequacy
- Collaborate with legal teams on enforcement actions and regulatory updates
- Represent EBSA at industry conferences and stakeholder meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or regulatory compliance experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, PBGC regulations, and IRS pension codes
- Professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA, or QPFC) strongly preferred
- Advanced proficiency in pension administration software and data analysis tools
- Ability to interpret complex financial statements and actuarial reports
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement
