Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive ERISA compliance audits for multi-employer pension plans
- Analyze complex plan documents and financial statements for regulatory adherence
- Investigate participant complaints and fiduciary breaches
- Develop corrective action plans for non-compliant pension plans
- Collaborate with legal teams on enforcement actions and litigation support
- Train federal agencies and plan sponsors on pension regulations
- Prepare detailed audit reports and policy recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years of pension plan administration or ERISA compliance experience
- Proficiency in pension valuation software (e.g., Milliman, Pims)
- CPA, CFA, or ERISA certification strongly preferred
- Deep understanding of multi-employer pension regulations
- Ability to interpret complex financial documents and legal statutes
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
