Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans including contribution calculations, benefit disbursements, and participant communications
- Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, IRS, and Arizona state pension regulations
- Conduct audits of pension records and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Develop educational materials for participants regarding retirement planning
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams on pension-related initiatives
- Manage weekend shift operations for participant support services
- Utilize specialized pension administration software for data management
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in pension plan administration or benefits management
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or Certified Retirement Administrator (CRA) designation preferred
- Proficiency in pension administration software (e.g., Millennium, Oracle HCM)
- Strong knowledge of ERISA, IRS Code 401(a), and Arizona Revised Statutes
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail for complex calculations
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts with remote flexibility
