Responsibilities
- Administer and process federal pension claims with 100% accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure strict adherence to ERISA, OPM, and IRS regulations for retirement plans
- Manage pension databases, troubleshoot discrepancies, and generate compliance reports
- Provide responsive support to federal employees regarding retirement plan inquiries
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex pension issues
- Conduct periodic audits of pension records to maintain data integrity
- Document all pension transactions and communications per federal standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration experience
- Expert knowledge of federal retirement systems (TSP, FERS, CSRS)
- Proficiency in pension software and data analysis tools
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements for government benefits
- Ability to work independently during night shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, QKA) preferred
