- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex pension discrepancies
- Conduct periodic audits of pension portfolios to ensure regulatory compliance
- Develop educational materials on retirement benefits for federal agencies
- Stay current on evolving pension legislation and regulatory changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of pension plan administration experience
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) designation strongly preferred
- Proficiency in benefits administration software (e.g., Workday, ADP)
- Deep understanding of federal retirement systems (TSP, FERS, CSRS)
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
