Responsibilities
- Oversee administration of federal employee pension plans including TSP and FERS
- Ensure compliance with ERISA, IRS, and OPM regulations
- Analyze pension fund performance and recommend investment strategies
- Develop retirement education materials for federal employees
- Conduct audits of pension plan operations and third-party vendors
- Collaborate with OPM and Treasury on retirement policy initiatives
- Manage pension claims processing and dispute resolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years pension administration experience with federal plans
- ERISA and IRS retirement plan compliance expertise
- Advanced proficiency in pension management software (e.g., ADP, Milliman)
- Series 65/66 or 7 securities license required
- Strong analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Ability to obtain and maintain federal security clearance
