Responsibilities
- Process and verify pension plan applications for federal employees during night shift hours
- Ensure compliance with federal retirement regulations (ERISA, CSRS, FERS)
- Manage complex pension calculations and benefit adjustments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve benefit discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records using federal databases and proprietary systems
- Respond to urgent benefit inquiries during operational hours
- Conduct periodic audits of pension plan documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of pension administration or federal benefits experience
- Proficiency in federal benefits systems (e.g., PRIDE, BENEFITS)
- Knowledge of ERISA, CSRS, and FERS regulations
- Ability to work independently during night shift (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clearances: Must obtain Public Trust Level 5
