Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans for state employees, processing contributions and distributions
- Ensure compliance with Oklahoma pension laws and IRS regulations
- Provide weekend-shift support for urgent retirement inquiries and transactions
- Analyze pension fund performance and prepare quarterly financial reports
- Collaborate with HR departments to resolve retirement eligibility issues
- Maintain accurate participant records and documentation
- Conduct annual pension plan audits and compliance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension plan administration experience
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Oracle HCM, Workday)
- Strong understanding of ERISA and Oklahoma state retirement codes
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Government or public sector background preferred
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 certification a plus
