Responsibilities
- Review and audit pension plan documents for ERISA compliance
- Investigate participant complaints and plan violations
- Develop compliance guidance for plan sponsors and fiduciaries
- Conduct on-site examinations of multi-employer pension plans
- Coordinate with legal teams on enforcement actions and litigation
- Train industry professionals on pension regulations
- Prepare detailed examination reports and recommendations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, law, or related field
- 5+ years of pension plan administration or compliance experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS Code, and DOL regulations
- Strong analytical and investigative skills
- Ability to interpret complex financial documents
- Federal security clearance eligibility
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) preferred
