Responsibilities
- Administer Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) and Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) compliance
- Conduct pension plan audits and financial risk assessments
- Develop retirement benefit projections and actuarial valuations
- Advise federal agencies on pension policy implementation
- Manage pension fund investments and regulatory reporting
- Coordinate with OPM headquarters on national retirement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or related field
- 3+ years pension plan administration experience
- Federal Benefits Specialist (FBS) certification preferred
- Expertise in ERISA and OPM regulations
