Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans ensuring compliance with ERISA and state regulations
- Process retirement applications and manage benefit disbursements
- Provide weekend customer support for retirees via phone and digital channels
- Conduct eligibility reviews and pension calculations
- Generate quarterly reports for finance department review
- Collaborate with HR on employee retirement planning initiatives
- Maintain accurate pension databases and documentation
- Participate in weekend enrollment events for transitioning employees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel and pension management software
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
- Excellent communication skills for remote customer interactions
- Knowledge of ERISA and Tennessee pension regulations
- Valid Tennessee driver's license for occasional in-person meetings
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or SHRM-CP preferred
