Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS with 99.8% compliance accuracy
- Develop and implement pension policy revisions aligned with OMB and GAO guidelines
- Conduct complex actuarial valuations and financial projections for multi-billion dollar portfolios
- Lead cross-agency retirement planning initiatives for federal employees nationwide
- Design and deliver pension education workshops for federal workforce segments
- Oversee audit processes ensuring adherence to federal pension regulations
- Collaborate with IRS and OPM on retirement policy development and implementation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Actuarial Science, or Public Administration (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of pension administration experience with federal programs
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification required
- Expert knowledge of ERISA, TSP regulations, and federal retirement systems
- Advanced proficiency in pension software (e.g., BenefitFocus, Milliman)
- Demonstrated experience leading pension policy reform projects
- Active federal security clearance (or ability to obtain)
- Exceptional analytical skills with data visualization expertise
