Responsibilities
- Administer pension benefits calculations and distributions for state retirees
- Review and process retirement applications with 99.7% accuracy
- Conduct audits of pension portfolios to ensure regulatory compliance
- Respond to complex retiree inquiries within 24-hour SLA
- Collaborate with investment teams on portfolio performance analysis
- Maintain secure documentation in state pension databases
- Generate monthly compliance reports for regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension administration or retirement planning experience
- Proficiency in pension management software (e.g., Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft)
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 certification preferred
- Advanced knowledge of ERISA and Tennessee retirement regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written communication skills for policy documentation
- Availability for night shift (11 PM - 7 AM CT)
