Responsibilities
- Manage pension plan enrollment, disbursements, and compliance documentation
- Respond to participant inquiries via secure channels during night shift hours
- Process retirement applications and calculate benefits using specialized software
- Conduct audits to ensure adherence to state/federal pension regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on policy implementation
- Maintain confidential participant records with 100% accuracy
- Generate monthly reports for financial oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits experience
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite
- Deep understanding of ERISA, IRS 401(k) regulations, and Tennessee pension laws
- Exceptional problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM CT)
- Valid U.S. driver's license and clean background check
