Responsibilities
- Administer state pension plans including contributions, distributions, and compliance reporting
- Process complex retirement applications and benefit calculations for state employees
- Conduct audits and reconciliation of pension accounts to ensure accuracy

- Maintain strict adherence to ERISA, IRS, and Texas pension regulations

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration
- 3+ years of pension administration or benefits management experience
- Deep knowledge of ERISA, IRS Section 415, and Texas pension laws
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and pension administration software
- Ability to work independently during night shift hours (10 PM - 6 AM)
- Certified Pension Consultant (CPC) or similar designation preferred
- Experience with remote work protocols and cybersecurity best practices
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for complex financial calculations
