Responsibilities

- Respond to complex inquiries from retirees, beneficiaries, and agency representatives
- Prepare detailed reports on pension fund performance and actuarial projections
- Collaborate with legal teams to update policies based on legislative changes
- Maintain confidential participant data in secure government systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field
- 3+ years of pension administration or retirement benefits experience
- Proficiency with pension management software (e.g., Oracle HCM, PeopleSoft)
- Deep understanding of ERISA, IRS regulations, and NY State pension laws
- Strong analytical skills with attention to financial detail
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts (Sat/Sun 8am-4pm)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Government background clearance required
