Responsibilities
- Administer federal pension plans including TSP, FERS, and CSRS with precision
- Process retirement applications, benefit calculations, and survivor claims
- Conduct audits and compliance reviews ensuring adherence to OPM guidelines
- Advise federal employees on retirement planning strategies via weekend consultations
- Maintain confidential records using secure federal databases (e.g., HRIS)
- Collaborate with legal teams to update plan documents for regulatory changes
- Generate quarterly reports for congressional oversight committees
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Public Administration required
- 3+ years of pension administration or federal benefits experience
- Proficiency with federal systems (e.g., HRConnect, EBIS) and Excel
- CFP, CEBS, or SPHR certification preferred
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to regulatory detail
- Weekend shift availability (Saturday/Sunday 8am-4pm)
