Responsibilities
- Administer pension plans according to federal and state regulations
- Process retirement applications, contributions, and distributions
- Provide exceptional customer service to plan participants
- Maintain accurate financial records and participant data
- Conduct eligibility verifications and benefit calculations
- Prepare compliance reports and audit documentation
- Stay current with pension legislation and policy changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Minimum 3 years pension administration experience
- Proficiency with pension software and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of ERISA and IRS regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently on weekend shifts
- Professional certification (e.g., CEBS, QKA) preferred
